12" Hawaiian Spear Weapon with Shark teeth. KOA Wood Polynesian Tiki Carving

This is an authentic Hawaiian KOA spear with intimidating Shark teeth. It is also known as "pahoa i a me lei-o-mano". This beautiful piece of art measures 12" long with a total of 4 real tiger shark teeth. It is hand carved from rare Koa wood and has woven loops of fibers also called "olonai",a Hawaiian shrub, the bark of which is valued as a source of strong, durable fiber. The spear can either be hung or mounted. From the pictures one can appreciate the attention to details and the smooth patina of the wood.
